On 1 June 2026, the Rector of the Krakow University of Economics, Dr Habil. Bernard Ziębicki, Associate Professor, met with representatives of University North (Sveučilište Sjever), one of the largest public universities in northern Croatia. The meeting was also attended by Dr Habil. Katarzyna Sanak-Kosmowska, Associate Professor, Director of the International Relations Center.
From 19 to 25 April, the Krakow University of Economics hosted students from Universitat de Girona (Spain) and Hochschule Aalen – Technik und Wirtschaft (Germany) as part of the Erasmus+ Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) titled Designing Smart, Creative and Sustainable Solutions for City & Cultural Heritage.
On 1 June 2026, the Old Auditorium of the Krakow University of Economics hosted another edition of the Rector’s Lecture Series. The guest speaker was Asim Khwaja, a renowned expert in cybersecurity with extensive experience in the critical infrastructure, financial services and public sectors in the United Kingdom. His lecture, entitled “AI, Cybersecurity and the Future of Digital Trust,” explored the opportunities and challenges arising from the rapid development of digital technologies.
