On September 11–12, 2025, Krakow University of Economics hosted an international group of experts representing 18 countries, including the United States, Canada, Australia, South Africa, Scotland, Cyprus, and the Netherlands. The conference was jointly organized by the Department of Real Estate Economics and Investment Process (headed by Bartłomiej Marona, Associate Professor ) and the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Silesia in Katowice (Dr Habil. Magdalena Habdas, Associate Professor), in cooperation with the Groningen Center for Law and Governance (University of Groningen), the University of Cape Town, the University of Johannesburg, and Radboud University Nijmegen.
