International Cooperation

International cooperation and global engagement represent key strategic pillars in the mission and long-term development of Krakow University of Economics (KUE). The university’s dynamic growth is enabled by a proactive and value-driven internationalisation policy, currently reflected in partnerships with over 250 institutions across Asia, South Africa, Australia, Europe, the Middle East, as well as North and South America.

KUE's international activities are pursued comprehensively across all levels of the institution — encompassing colleges, research institutes, academic and administrative staff, and the student body. This includes participation in international research initiatives, mobility programmes, collaborative projects, and high-level academic events such as conferences, symposia, and seminars.

The strategic oversight and operational execution of the university’s international agenda are coordinated by the INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS CENTRE, which comprises two key units:

  • International Programs Office — IPO is responsible for implementing the educational objectives of EU programs and inter-institutional agreements (Erasmus+, CEEPUS, EMBS, double degrees, government scholarships, summer schools, Transekonimik, etc.). This includes programs administration, active involvement in their execution, and ensuring their smooth operation.
  • International Relations Office

These entities ensure consistent implementation of KUE’s internationalisation policy in alignment with institutional objectives and global standards.

KUE is member in:

  • Network of International Business and Economic Schools (NIBES)
  • The European University Association (EUA)
  • University Network of the European Capitals of Culture (UNECC)
  • Central European Exchange Program for University Studies (CEEPUS)
  • European Universities Public Relations and Information Officers (EUPRIO)
  • The Polish Association of Centers for Technology Transfer (PACTT)
  • International Relations Offices Forum

Best practices, creative thinking and innovative solutions facilitate the knowledge and skills required to meet today’s globally connected world demands. For all the reasons mentioned above the internationalization means for the KUE`s authorities and community substantial progress and future opportunities.
