The main idea behind establishing theBoardis to foster engaging collaboration between the University and its external environment, in order to gain better insight into its needs. TheBoardwill enable the exchange of ideas related to the University’s current activities and the setting of directions for its future development.
In order to ensure a broad perspective on the University’s various areas of cooperation with its external environment, KUE has invited representatives from diverse sectors to join the External Advisory Board. These include representatives of local government authorities, cultural institutions, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), large global corporations, biotechnology companies, financial institutions, and the medical community.

Stanisław Mazur – First Deputy Mayor of the City of Kraków, Rector of the Krakow University of Economics from 2020 to 2024, Head of the Department of Public Policy, and former Dean of the College of Public Economy and Administration. Executive editor of the quarterly “Public Management”. His academic specialization includes public policy analysis, public management and organizational and systemic learning. He has participated as an expert and coordinator in dozens of national and international projects in the fields of public policy analysis, quality of governance, strategic management, and organizational learning. He is the author of over 260 scientific publications, published in prestigious national (PWN, Scholar) and international publishing houses (Routledge, Peter Lang Publishing).
