Polish as foreign language

At the Krakow University of Economics, it is possible to learn Polish as a foreign language. There are several options to choose from.

  • POLISH PATH

Polish Path programme is dedicated to everyone interested in gaining proficiency in the Polish language. KUE offers classes in small, eight to fifteen-person groups at A1, A2, B1 and B2 levels, which can be attended both by students and people outside the University.

The annual cost of participation in the programme is PLN 1 600. The programme provides participants with 120 teaching hours per academic year, i.e. 60 per semester. Registration for the programme is free of risk (in the event of failure to start the classes, the fees are returned to participants).

  • POLISH MODULE

Polish Module programme has been developed for people planning to start education or a professional career in Poland. Classes are held in small groups at B1 / B2 levels and can be attended by all concerned.

The total cost of participation in the programme is EUR 2 000. The programme provides participants with 480 teaching hours per academic year, but there is also a possibility to enrol in additional courses in mathematics or Business Polish. Participation in the programme and a positive result of the final exam allow participants to receive a certificate confirming the proficiency in the Polish language at a certain level.

 Language Courses for KUE Students
As part of the compulsory language courses included in the study curriculum, full-time first-cycle (Bachelor’s) students may attend Polish language classes.
International students studying at KUE in English can choose Polish at the A1 level and begin learning the language from scratch.
International students studying at KUE in Polish who wish to improve their language skills can choose Polish at the B2 or C1 level as part of their compulsory language course.
