Studies

In terms of size the Krakow University of Economics is the largest economic university in Poland. Taking into account all the different programs available, it has approximately 15,000 students. Since its inception, over 100,000 students have graduated from the KUE. The university conducts joint programs with over 200 universities from all over the world, thanks to which students can choose from numerous exchange programs, internships abroad, and earn double diplomas.

The showcase of the university is the way its wide offer of fields of study and specialization meets the needs of the labor market: According to research on the prospects of students and graduates, conducted since 2010 by the Academic Career Center, as many as 85% of KUE students find their future jobs before finishing their studies.

The KUE offers full-time and part-time education in over 30 fields of study. This rich selection of programs includes not only studies taught in Polish, but also educational programs taught in English at all levels of study and in a variety of formats.

HIGHER EDUCATION:

First-cycle studies:

First-cycle studies last 3 years (6 semesters) and conclude with the awarding of a bachelor's degree, with the exception of the faculties of Merchandise Sciences, Management and Production Engineering, International Logistics, and the specialization in Spatial Planning and Engineering in the field of Spatial Management, where the program of study lasts 3.5 years (7 semesters), and concludes with the awarding of an engineering degree. Graduates of the first-cycle studies may continue their education in the second cycle.

Second-cycle studies:

Second-cycle studies last 2 years (4 semesters), with the exception of the Financial Audit program, which lasts 2.5 years (5 semesters), and the Merchandise Sciences, and Production Management and Engineering programs, which last 1.5 years (3 semesters). These studies conclude with the awarding of a master's degree.

Long-cycle studies:

There are also comprehensive master's studies available in the field of Law that last 5 years (10 semesters), and conclude with the awarding of a master's degree.

POSTGRADUATE STUDIES:

Responding to the dynamically growing requirements of the modern labor market, resulting from continuous technological progress, the KUE attaches great importance to lifelong learning. The university offers education in over 100 postgraduate programs, conducted within the university itself, as well as at its external units: the Krakow School of Business and the Małopolska School of Public Administration. Undertaking postgraduate studies enables students to continuously improve their professional qualifications and acquire new skills, thereby ensuring them a competitive advantage in the employment market.

Bearing in mind the needs of people in managerial positions who want to manage their company in an innovative and modern way while solving inevitable problems, we also run prestigious management studies, addressed to managers of domestic and foreign companies.
